November 8, 1900: Lit Nabors

A NEGRO LYNCHED.

Mob Disposed of Lit Nabors in Mississippi.

MEMPHIS, Tenn., November 8.—Near Cohoma,Miss., last night, Lit Nabors, colored, shot and killed J. L. Holcomb, white. Nabors was arrested by bystanders, and this morning his corpse was found swinging from the limb of a tree in the neighborhood. No arrests have been made.
