November 8, 1900: Lit Nabors

A NEGRO LYNCHED.

MEMPHIS, Tenn., November 8.—Near Cohoma,Miss., last night, Lit Nabors, colored, shot and killed J. L. Holcomb, white. Nabors was arrested by bystanders, and this morning his corpse was found swinging from the limb of a tree in the neighborhood. No arrests have been made.

Normally with such small articles I would add an article of interest. I won't be doing that for the next few days since I am out of state and do not have access to all my articles of interest. Thank you for joining me and as always, I hope I leave you with something to ponder.
